Life Coaching

What is life coaching? I have always thought of life coaching as guiding clients through the process of self discovery and development. Inner conflict is a result of the driving force of the subconscious mind and the conscious mind trying to fight it. We often don't even realize that inner conflict is present until we find ourselves in situations where we are unable to perform at the level desired. Life coaching consists of using a neuro-cognitive behavioural approach to reframe and retrain negative belief systems. It has been proven that cells in the body react to beliefs which is exactly how we can explain the placebo effect, therefore by targeting subconscious values we can alter the driving forces behind our thought patterns and behaviours. The goal of life coaching is to unlearn what your mind has learned that created your current circumstances.

Who would benefit most from a life coach?

As I’ve come to understand existence better, I fully resonate with the idea that life is more of a mental battle than anything. Our bodies are strong and know how to heal, however our mental state requires a lot more attention and maintenance. If you are finding it difficult to implement or make new changes in your life, or whether you are struggling to take the necessary steps to pursue and accomplish your goals, a life coach could always open your eyes to new opportunities and perspectives. Feeling stuck, having low self-esteem and confidence and poor focus are all challenges I can aide in as well. Please note that you should never consider a life coach instead of a registered psychologist or counsellor for mental health treatment.

What sets me apart from other coaches is the strategies and exercises I use, which are a combination of the best practices I have found in my field. Some of these include neuro-linguistic programming, neuroplasticity, breath work, self-hypnosis techniques and emotional freedom technique. Additionally I utilize cognitive, dialectal and rational emotive behavioural therapy. I am trained and experienced to offer all of these modalities and often combine them for the best possible results for my clients! 


Additionally I have extensive experience working with individuals from all walks of life and socio economic backgrounds. I have worked with thousands of people over the course of my career, accumulating hundreds of coaching and training hours. The last few years of my work experience directly revolve around business consulting, parent coaching and introducing cognitive behavioural therapy and visualization to young athletes.

Lastly, booking with me is a commitment free process. There are no packages for you to pay for upfront, you book as many sessions as you can commit to. Scheduling is flexible, and on your time. I can work with clients who have very limited time and funds, as long as they are willing to use and implement the strategies we discuss during our sessions.
